General Description of the Hughes GXCEBOT and GXCEBOTD for DIRECTV:
Once a subsidiary of DirecTV which made several different types of DirecTV equipment, this was the first Hughes DVR. This unit was the last in the first series of DirecTV TiVos (including the Philips DSR 6000, then the Sony SAT T-60). The GXCEBOT and GXCEBOTD designations were both used on functionally identical units; the differences are negligible.
Remote Info for the Series1 Black TiVo Peanut Remote:
This is the original DirecTV/TiVo remote. This remote will be compatible with all other TiVos that use Peanut-shaped remotes, but it has fewer buttons than any other model of the TiVo peanut family. This has a DirecTV logo on the bottom.
